These Rishis left the cities and settled in the jungles and deserts in search of truth. They were harmless, sincere and pious people who wished everyone well and served the humanity. Therefore, their prayers were and did not allow any interference in it for the luxury of human beings. # Syed Ali Hamdan is in Kashmir During the rule of Sultan Shahab-ud-din, a great preacher of beings. Islam Syed Ali Hamdani came from Iran with his 600 Sadaats. He brought a glorious revolution in cultural, religious, political and social life of the people. He introduced practicing Islam and all kind of Iranian art and craft, fruits, flowers, food, trees and opened schools in every nook and corner of Kashmir. As a result of unforgettable services, love and affection of Hazrat Shah-e Hamdan and his companions, Kashmir was known as Iran-el Sagheer. Many of those Rishis embraced Islam due to their high moral character and sincerity. # The Story Of Sufi Baba One of those pious people was Sufi Baba who lived at the foot of Pir Panjal. He had left the world and worshipped Allah Almighty there. When someone came to him for advice, he would start climbing the mountain and say, "O people, do not cut trees The mountains will become bare and they will curse you. If you do not stop, these mountains will take revenge. Earthquakes will kill you. Rocks will eat up (devour) your fountains and your fields will become barren. " Sufi Baba used to walk by the side of streams and rivers and speak out, "O people, do not pollute your clean rivers and streams and give them respect. Otherwise they will overflow on you and wash away your settlements. If you destroy the forests, the creatures living in them like lion, leopard, deer, bear, monkey, yak and the Singing birds of the jungle will migrate and leave you in an artificial life." In the process of advising people, Sufi Baba had reached the top of Pir Panjal. There was a beautiful valley which was full of fruits and flowers. The waterfalls and streams flowing down the green the jungle and birds with colourful feathers played in the water of the streams. The fruit-ladden colorful branches of trees seemed to be in bloom. On these branches could be seen bee-hives. The deer ran here and there. The lion, leopard, monkey, etc were speaking various languages. Eagles were flying in the clear blue sky. One day while he was at the top of Pir Panjal, thick clouds appeared on the horizon. In no time the clouds covered everything around. Sufi Baba was struck by the beauty of the scene. He kept walking unconsciously and kept talking to Allah Almighty. "O Allah, The Creator of strange creatures with how great love You have made all these things! Will all this remain as it is? All this speaks of Your beauty and the beauty of Your thought. O, Allah spread the to the whole world. O Allah, bid the wind take all the blessings to all parts of the world so that your creatures everywhere may benefit from them". In the meantime, it started drizzling. Talking to himself, Sufi Baba entered a cave. He raised his hands for prayer. The thundering and rain continued and the weather kept changing but Sufi Baba stayed in that posture. The sun gave warmth to Sufi Bata with its lovely rays. The winds laden with the fragrance of fruits and flowers energized the Baba's body. The honeybees dropped the droplets of honey in his mouth. Various kinds of fragrance protected him from the severity of the weather. Centuries passed this way Sparrows made their nests in the caised hands of Sufi Baba. Wild animals went with respect They were part of his life. Birds sat on his shoulders and praised Allah Almighty all the day. They sang songs of love and peace and the parrots talked to him. Time went on in this way. Thousands of years passed. Gradually, everything changed. Man's crossed his limit in his craze to conquer nature. With the spread of settlements man s needs also increased. "Hatred and wars replaced "Love Win all". Sufi Baba could hear around him. Slowly, armies encamped there. The booming of guns and smell of gun powder gradually changed the environment. The smoke polluted the clear blue sky To meet man's growing needs, the running water of streams was pooled in large dams. Deforestation frightened the wild animals and they felt unsafe. All got together to think. All were very sad. Finally, one day all the animals migrated from there with their young ones. The forest became unhabitated. The entire scene changed. Strong winds and rains started destroying the valley. Such a wind also drove Sufi Baba from there. He Feel to the Ground like a chopped tree. The hands raised for prayers for centuries now opened. Sparrows flew out of their nests. Winds buried his body in the clay. The leaves and flowers petals covered his body. It was the first ever human grave in this paradise Afterwards, this paradise valley became the grave yard of the people living around it. The air stil gives this message of Sufi Baba: "Natural environment helps life. Do not disturb this. Love your forests, mountains and rivers." # The Message Of Writer The Story Say "O People do not pollute your clean rivers and streams and give them respect.
